The Milestones of Recent History

The Salzburg Exhibition Center Salzburg has been an integral part of the Austrian and international exhibition and event landscape since 1973.

  • 2000: Renaming of the "Salzburger Ausstellungs Zentrum Ges.m.b.H." to "Messezentrum Salzburg GmbH".
  • 2003: Completion and opening of salzburgarena
  • 2011: Demolition of old halls and subsequent construction of Hall 10, opening after a construction time of only six and a half months
  • 2012: Opening of the new congress and conference area on the 1st floor of Hall 10
  • 2016: Conversion and opening of the new Hall 1 and the new congress and conference area
    on the 1st floor of Hall 1
  • 2021: New branding of Messezentrum Salzburg GmbH
